Alright, now that the year is almost over, I can finally admit how this year has been for me.
IT'S BEEN B.S.

There were parts that were good, of course. I got Minecraft for my birthday, I got to meet Tutyr irl and attend M2X with 'em and my friends, I got married to Rip1191, had my first official Artist Alley at Youmacon, and started up a now-relatively-successful One Piece collab ask blog with HappyNinjaPichu that's still going strong. (Hence why you'll probably not recognize November and December--they're from the ask blog! Their posts are linked below for their respective months.)

But there was a lot of bad to equal the good, if not counter it.

However, que sera sera and all that, and hopefully, next year won't be as b.s. as this year.

This year, I think it's obvious that I was really experimenting with coloring. I...I really like coloring. I really like art. But, this year granted me little to no time for it because of many personal reasons + my job that I have yet to be able to quit. I wasn't able to meet my New Year's Resolution (which was to make my own webcomic) due to many many personal reasons (hence the "b.s." of the year), but I think I'll be able to next year, so my resolution will not change for next year until it is completed.

And I think it's fine to announce it here, like I did last year:
I'm starting up the first official Minecraft (web)comic.
I know, right? Of all series, it's Minecraft--the one thing I have NEVER posted any fanart for anywhere on the Internet except ONCE of a character design on my art tumblr.
But, yes, it's starting up. My husband Rip1191 and I are working on it as we speak, and I'm getting the cover page in the works with line art now. Here's hoping to better horizons for the future with it! Who knows, this could be my breakthrough, but right now, it's just something fun for me to maybe share with everyone else (granted I find a good website to host it on... pfft.)
